Small format positive or negative films are exposed to UV light to produce Screen stencils, offset plates and flexographic polymer plates.
Printers are increasingly taking advantage of the digital age to streamline their production processes and MacDermid Autotype is at the forefront of providing products to facilitate this.
The new OMEGA Fast polyester offset plate enables artwork to be transferred from PC to Press in a matter of minutes, via the printing of OMEGA Fast through a standard laser printer. The plate requires no chemical processing and is ideal for printing business cards, forms, newsletters and greetings cards, to name but a few. Offset printers wishing to use metal plates for longer runs, can use New Delta laser film to expose the image onto a metal plate. As with OMEGA Fast, New Delta laser film can be imaged using any standard laser printer.
