Offset plates are a fundamental part of the offset printing process. The plate is positioned onto the drum, where is then ink applied to the ink receptive image on the plate via a blanket.

Two leading products
MacDermid Autotype has designed two products Delta and Omega EZ. Delta is a positive or negative film used in the production of metal offset plates and Omega EZ is a new generation of polyester plate used for short run offset printing.
