| Aspect Quadra Digital Prepress Production System |
MacDermid Autotype has combined the very best hardware, software, output devices and consumables with superior technical support, giving screen printers a simple, inexpensive and reliable route to the latest digital prepress technology.
Aspect Quadra-III is the 3rd generation of Quadra systems that let screen printers take advantage of affordable inkjet technology to produce high quality, high-density film positives and halftone color proofs. Roland XJ series Pro-III printers are specially modified and configured to achieve MacDermid Autotype film output standards. Aspect Quadra front-end hardware, software, ink, and media are specially configured to work with these inkjet printers from Roland DGA to satisfy the specific requirements of the screen printing process.
Each Aspect Quadra System supplies everything you need to begin producing high-quality films and simulated proofs. The three new XJ systems are differentiated only by their output width. Special Configurations for 640 Flexo negatives allow creation of photo tools for flexo plate imaging.
• Quadra-III 540 is ideal for textile applications and will image films 16.5” to 54” wide with halftones ranging from 35 lpi to 85 lpi. Roland printers use an exclusive 1080 dpi resolution mode for a good balance of speed, accuracy and dot quality in screen rulings up to 65 lines per inch. Higher line counts like 75 and 85 line use 1440 dpi for best quality. 720 dpi is used for speed.
• Quadra-III 640 has the same basic specifications as the 540 but will image Aspect Quadra film up to 63.5” wide.
• Quadra-III 740 has the same basic specifications but will image Aspect Quadra film up to 65.75” wide for those producing films for the largest of presses.

| The new Quadra-III systems are the third generation of the popular line of digital pre-press equipment. The Quadra-III systems, available in 54” and 64” widths, utilize versions of the Roland XJ line of printers, but incorporate modifications specific to the requirements of film positive and negative generation. With printing speeds as high as 80 sq. ft. per hour and Wasatch precision rosette screening to 85 line, the Aspect Quadra is ideal for producing film positives or negatives for screenprint P.O.P. , textile, signage, and flexographic liquid photopolymer plate imaging. | |
