| AUTOFLEX |
 Autoflex comprises of a range of chemically bonded UV-cured hard surface coated polyester and polycarbonate films. Both film types are available in a Gloss (93% gloss level) or Antiglare (60% gloss level) finish on the first surface. The texture is receptive to Fototex, the Autotype texturing lacquer, enabling selective areas of the overlay to have different areas of texture.
Autotype Industrial Film substrates have been proven performers in membrane switch technology for nearly 20 years. Our textured films effectively proved to the industry that a polyester overlay can add millions of actuations to the life of a switch. The switch life of the film can exceed 5 million actuations, even when embossed, ensuring the switch will work throughout the life time of the equipment.
Applications examples include membrane switch overlays, touchscreens, fascia panels, nameplates, labels and product marking.

Available also with a variety of second surface ink primers for solvent containing or UV inks. The gloss hard coat and the second surface window area can be protected during processing through the application of Autotype’s Print and Peel, a water-soluble screen printable protective mask. | Features | Benefits | High optical clarity and a flexible hardcoated surface that combines excellent solvent and abrasion resistance, which is suitable for embossing. The films are available in 0.005" (130 micron), 0.007" (180 micron) and 0.010" (250 micron) gauges. The second surface provides excellent adhesion properties for screen printing inks.
| Polyester film is tougher and more durable than polycarbonate and PVC films. Autoflex EB offers enhanced chemical resistance and improved flex life. The consistent texture offers the same optical qualities time after time.
